CURATOR
BIO
Federico Rudari (Verona, 1996) is a researcher, independent curator, and writer. He holds a PhD in Culture Studies at The Lisbon Consortium (FCH, Universidade Católica Portuguesa), where his research explores the negotiations of meaning between architecture, artistic practice, and embodied perception, examining how aesthetic and political narratives emerge within exhibition ecologies. He previously worked in research and project management for the UNESCO World Heritage Centre's Cities Programme (2021) and was a Visiting Fellow at Boston College (2023). Between 2019 and 2021, he served as curator and editor for the project 4Cs: From Conflict to Conviviality through Creativity and Culture.
Most recently, he curated the group exhibition Diverse Laridae (CCB – Centro Cultural de Belém, Lisbon, September 2025; CAAA – Centro para os Assuntos da Arte e Arquitectura, Guimarães, January–February 2026), and co-curated with Orsola Vannocci Bonsi Teorema da Falta, the first solo exhibition in Portugal by the Italian video artist duo MASBEDO (SNBA – Sociedade Nacional de Belas-Artes, Lisbon, April–May 2026).
His writing has appeared in publications including e-flux, kritische berichte, Philosophy Kitchen, and Flash Art. Together with Luísa Santos, he edited Contemporary Cultural Tools for Identities in the Making (Routledge, 2025).

PROJECT
His curatorial practice investigates the possibilities and limits of the forms -historical and contemporary, technological and organic, real and imagined -through which we remember and represent both the world around us and ourselves. These forms function as gestures of hope and creativity while simultaneously revealing structures of fiction and violence.
