PROJECT

His research investigates the historical, cultural, and natural elements through which places are shaped and narrated by ideological and stereotypical imaginaries. Focusing on rural and provincial contexts, he considers marginal territories as privileged sites of inquiry where notions of authenticity can be rediscovered and reinterpreted.

Working through a multidisciplinary approach, his practice centres on the transformation of found objects and artefacts that evoke specific landscapes through their form and cultural identity. By preserving traces of what is destined to disappear, his work seeks to fossilise fragile identities and generate new narrative possibilities.
