LAB with Vidavè (Matteo Vignali e Noemi Dalla Vecchia)
In this workshop, movement becomes visual material and scenic space through light, shaped in dialogue with the moving body. Using a range of lighting sources, including those featured in the creation "Coraggio. La sfortuna non esiste", participants will explore light as a choreographic element, crafting atmospheres and environments through dynamic compositions that interact with movement. A research-driven experience in which dance and light continuously transform one another, opening up new expressive and perceptual possibilities.
ABOUT
Vidavè is an Italian based company directed by Noemi Dalla Vecchia and Matteo Vignali, dancers and choreographers that from 2019 worked together to create a personal choreographic aesthetic.
They bridge movement languages from street dances, contemporary dance and somatic practices, integrating the use of texts and voice to support a micro-dramaturgical and musical movement. Their choreographic processes are mostly based on movement research, inspired by musicality of sound and voice. The contexts and concepts they address most in their works are linked to the individual and collective experience of human beings in society, analyzing how the mind and body can find expression through movement.
